We held our Chase the Penguin 2021 here at this camp. This time, most courses go beyond the Camp boundaries to explore the backwoods a bit. Note this is a Sunday event. All courses are Point to Point (get the controls in a set order). Open woods with very few trails on advanced courses.

ORANGE (Advanced Beginner or Intermediate) 4.0
BROWN (Short Advanced) 3.8k

TIMES (all EST):

All starts are between Noon-2pm. We are starting control pickup at 3:30. If you are a beginner or want to take more time, please show up on the early side. All participants must check in at the finish. If you are not in by 3:30 you will have a DQ (unless arranged ahead of time). Parking is at the Cafeteria past the registration. Follow the signs. Do not park by the registration/start area.

COST:

$10.00 and includes one map and one loaner fingerstick (if needed).
$3.00 for an extra map.
OLOU Club members who are current on their dues will receive a coupon code via email for $3.00 off. Become a member here.
All must be paid through the registration page. No money will be collected on-site.

Regular Registration closes at 11:00 PM on Friday, November 19th. Late registration until 11:00 PM Saturday, November 20th and will have a $10 late penalty added to the cost.

​Note about PayPal: If you don't have a PayPal account, please use the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" under the PayPal sign-in window to pay directly with a credit card. You won't have to sign up for Paypal.

If you are orienteering with someone else in a "team" - please note it in the TEAM SECTION of the registration to help the registrar match you with the other person(s).

WHAT TO BRING:

- Compass (We have some available for rental)
- Watch
- Emergency whistle (use three long blasts to indicate you are injured)
- Water (there won't be any water or food provided)
- Comfortable outdoor shoes and clothing that can get potentially dirty
